IFFR Hong Kong continues to be extremely active.
During the winter months, members participated in “Aviation Ground Theory Course” run by the Hong Kong Aviation Club China, at their home base at the old Kai Tak airport. They also had Fight Simulator Training during the four evenings of the course. Two Hong Kong based Interactors were sponsored to join the members of IFFR Hong Kong on this programme, as part of its partnership with IFFR Hong Kong. Let’s hope they take on a career in aviation! The first 4 members received their certificates of successful course completion in May.
In June, IFFR Hong Kong held its annual meeting in person and online, which included a talk from Matthew Shum on his commercial pilot training and a presentation on Flight to End Polio – culminating in the launch of a Hong Kong based campaign to raise further funds for that very worthy cause.
And we are delighted to welcome recent new members of this section based in Macao, the Philippines, Thailand and Mongolia!
